    This is wrong altogether. First of all, hell does not exist biblically, there's no life after death, death is like a sleep until Jesus comes back, it's said so many times in the Bible. And I agree when the bishop says that God must be a tyran if he sends people to hell for the eternity, but God is love and justice: this means that He won't send people to hell for eternity as if it would transgress His character of love, but it equally means that not everyone is saved because this would transgress His character of justice. Now, we have all sinned (the Bible tells so) and the wages of sin is death, so we all should die, but because God is love and merciful, He sent Jesus (who was sinless) to take our sins upon Him and to pay with His death. Jesus embodies the love and justice of God. Alright, Jesus died for everyone and in John 3:16 it says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life", you see it says "whoever believes" = when we say Jesus has died for everyone's sins, it means that everyone has the opportunity to believe in Jesus and accept His gift of taking away our sins. If we don't accept Jesus's act of dying for our sins, we are carrying our sins by ourselves and we will face the eternal death.Now let's get back to the subject of hell, church used hell as a way to scare people out so they would control them. But if we want to go to heaven only because we are scared of hell, there's no more place for love because we act out of fear and selfishness; God wants to be together with those who truly love Him. And those who truly love God, they don't want to go to heaven only to enjoy themselves there, but they want to be reunited with God because their hearts are longing for God's presence. But imagine taking someone who does not act out of love for God, for them heaven would be like hell (because heaven is a place where everything is about God). When the Bible talks about the eternal fire, it talks about the eternal death. Indeed there will be a fire that will destroy for eternity Satan and those who rejected God so there would be no more sin (sin is the separation between us and God). About those who never heard about Jesus: the Bible says that everyone will be judged by their level of knowledge (by the way, everyone will be judged, but not everyone will be condemned), and those who did not know Jesus but they acted by the Spirit of God will be saved. To conclude, it is important to seek the truth, because there are some things we believe that are not biblical and it creates confusion. It is important to study carefully the Bible and to pray that the Holy Spirit would show us the truth because "the truth will set us free". God is loving and He wants all of His children to be with Him ut of love and not out of fear. May God bless you!
