Bronek, Władek and Janek reach Voronin, where, according to Karol, members of the underground are being held. Helena, harassed by Wasilewski, decides to warn Kazimierz. Wasilewski is commissioned to observe and protect the upcoming premiere of „Maidens Vows”. Rainer gives Władek the plan of the prison premises, he is counting on help with the recovery. He mentions the Archives of the Home Army once again. Lena is trying to be nice to Wasilewski and lull him to vigilance. Władek asks Wanda for help and intercession with Karol, because only he can know where Ruda was taken. Ada visits Kazimierz unexpectedly. Ada breaks out that Major Zwonarev was present at the Katyn executions. Kazimierz realizes that the Russians were standing on the Polish officers because of the murder. Karol informs Wanda about Ruda.
