Bronek cannot recover from the death of his companions. Janek plunges into depression, he cannot forgive himself that people died because of him. Karol interrogates Kobra, promises that after revealing the location of the archive, they will release Cobra’s brother from the Soviet labor camp. The cobra finally breaks down. He points to the place, but it turns out that the archive has been evacuated earlier. Ruda regains consciousness, gives Maria the address of the apartment where she meets Władek. Bronek and Władek show up at Karol. They threaten him with death by hanging. Karol is terrified and agrees to give Michał a secret message and a gun. Maria manages to bring Władek to the hospital in Ruda. Janek starts following Wasilewski and reaches his home. Wasilewski goes to his mother, with whom Lena left Jaś, and kidnaps the child.
