The police search the scene of the shoot-out with Adrian. Inspector Radoslaw Kędzierski is annoyed that he wasn’t informed Adrian had returned to town. He doesn’t believe the Police Chief’s claims that he shot Adrian. Despite fearing for his safety, Leslaw still helps Pawel find the location of Joanna’s murder – a popular bonfire spot where teenagers hang out.
