After the failed conviction of the scientist, Scott is increasingly a thorn in the side of his superior Aldous Petrie. Nevertheless, he is assigned to search for the mole who betrayed the operation. Scott has far-reaching powers and unconventional methods: he starts building his own small army of Berlin criminals. At the same time, he finds out some disturbing information about his lover, Severine. His mistrust grows.
